VERSE 70:
Curdled like milk is their heart;
but as for me, in Thy Law have I meditated.
Result of unrighteousness = bitterness and heaviness of heart
But the one who perseveres in goodness is warm and soft. And outer occurrences will teach him how to remain faithful.
VERSE 71:
It is good for me that Thou hast humbled me,
that I might learn Thy statutes.
The prophet thanks God for this path of education.
VERSE 72:
The Law of Thy mouth is better to me
than thousands of gold and silver.
His heart has no delight outside the Law.
The goal of God’s instruction: to prepare for Himself a dwelling place in the soul. once cleansed.
