VERSE 163:
Unrighteousness have I hated and abhorred,
but Thy law have I loved.

The 3rd spiritual weapon is the love of God’s law.
Brought about by the experiencing of spiritual fruitfulness, from fulfilling the law.
But then we love His law for itself.
That love engenders gradual hatred for anything else.
This love/hatred is like a double-edged sword. With it, we are safe from falls.

VERSE 164:
Seven times a day have I praised Thee
for the judgments of Thy righteousness.

Teeth help with speech, and glorifying God, the highest limit of the use of the mind.
Glorification born from contemplation:
– of how God reveals Himself in creation
– of how He is in Himself (cf. Isaac the Syrian)

Seven times a day  = he doesn’t cease praising God.

Give Him your work, your time and attention,
and you will have no time to be bored.
On the contrary, you will be as if in paradise,
for nothing can be compared
to the sweetness of meditation on God and praise of Him.
